Kya Khoya Kia Paya š¤
Itās almost the end of my Amal Fellowship. Oh! you donāt know about Amal Fellowship š It is a 3 month Fellowship Program offered by Amal Academy Lahore, Pakistan, Which is supported by Stanford University and PepsiCo. It is for the Fresh graduates of Pakistan to give them practical and professional knowledge and soft skills, you should try it if you get the opportunity. Any ways, itās the end of my fellowship.
Today, Iām writing this article about positive reflections of my fellowship that I have. I have surely learned a lot from this program and have created a bundle of memories to look back. and when I look back at them I only see learning experiences and moments of joy. The Amal family, specially Miss Anum and Sir Ahmad the Program Manager and Program Associate, are gems that made the fellowship interesting.
The fellowship was an image of āKam Kam and Kamā but it was full of memories. The zoom meetings, learnings from Online courses, Group meetings and Project works. The week used to pass so quickly. I still remember the first session where we had the an activity of telling the āStory behind our namesā to the fellows. I remember when I tried to talk in Urdu and they all encouraged me to speak English. I didnāt feel comfortable in working teams, specially with unknowns, but because of this I had to work with a group of people on a mega project and it was actually fruitful.
Though all the fellowship had a lot of us to learn but something that has impacted me a lot was the assessment center and mock interview it was the assessment of me that what have I learnt from the fellowship and mock interviews gave a glance of the professional life that what challenges that we have to face and how to prepare ourselves for them. I identified my shortcomings and the points where I need improvement.
The fellowship is in itās last phase and only 1 week is left now. I will surely miss everything and each one of the fellows. š
